Are there any known issues with this due to the aluminum body construction or with airbags?
Does the door need to be notched? Just trying to decide if it's worth the risk.

There are no issues with the aluminum body. No issues with airbags but we do recommend being mindful of them when drilling. No need to notch the door this is standard post mount install.

The official note on air bag is:
31. REMOVE GARNISH TRIM TO CHECK SIDE AIR BAG LOCATION IN "A" PILLAR. DRILL SHAFT HOLE WITH CAUTION TO PREVENT AIR BAG DAMAGE.

I have attached installation instructions and mounting template. Also attached is a compliance statement from Ford.

NOTE: When printing templates make sure printer is set to "actual size" and NOT "fit to page"

Great info. Thank you! I am going to be getting a spot light for a 2019 Responder F150. My department has never installed one before as we always order our units with them from the factory. Ford does not offer a factory option for a spotlight and our upfitter won’t touch them.

So I am going to be allowed to put on on my patrol vehicle when I get it.
