How many of you collectors after buying a bar "keep It Real" ?

I picked up a clean Aerodynic thats All RED I usually end up changing it to R/B as im a LEO and I like the Red/ blue Look, but I have 10 already.. should I keep it R/R as I dont have a R/R Aero.

The domes have slight crazing and will need to be replaced.

If the bar is special order, like NYPD or California spec. or some other special color combo, then I'd keep it in it's original configuration. If it's a run-of-the-mill, dime-a-dozen, see-'em-everywhere bar, then I'd be inclined to change it to something I like.

I change up the domes/lenses on my collection quite a bit, just for chits and grins. It's crazy how different a bar can look with a simple dome swap.

This is 1 idea I had .. all blue with clear ends.. red bulbs in the front and amber bulbs in the rear
I forget which PD did something similar to that, but I think it was an east coast department. They used the 24CA with blue lenses for the rotators and red lenses for the sealed beams, I think they might have used amber lenses on the rear facing sealed beams.

That's it! Scranton, PA. I knew someone from Scranton. He didn't go back and he never called it Scranton. He called it a part of human anatomy that begins with "scr".

Baltimore County, MD also used that configuration on their AeroDynics (however, I'm not sure about the endcaps). They also mounted a remote controlled spot light on top of the speaker housing (I believe it was a FedSig VisiBeam).
