A Killeen police officer who was shot in the line of duty Friday has died.
Police said Detective Charles "Chuck" Dinwiddie passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon.
Dinwiddie was one of four officers who were shot early Friday at an apartment. A police statement said two were treated and released, and the third was hospitalized in good condition.
