Kind of a new guy from Michigan

Hello,

I have been a member for a little while now so I guess it's time to start doing something other than looking at other peoples installs. I have been an On-Call Firefighter / EMT-B in Southwest Michigan (Kalamazoo County) for the last 5 years. I am also trying to enroll in a Paramedic program so I can get a job with a local ALS Ambulance Company. People may take a look at my POV and think that I am nothing but a "Whacker" but in all honesty, I love the job more than I love the lights. Lights are just a really cool bonus. I Started out just telling my friends where I want my lights and in return, they installed them. I have learned a lot about lights and sirens in the last 5 years and now try to do my own installs but my current truck isn't very clean due to how many people have installed stuff. Hopefully, after I buy my fiancee her new car, and practice putting in a "Clean" light and siren setup in it, I will be able to get my dream Ford F-250 and just go nuts... I have enjoyed looking at photos of other peoples setups and getting new ideas.

Stay safe out there.

There were two classes, one in Oshtemo and one in Portage. I was in the Oshtemo Class the year that Chief Howe's house burned down and he was serously injured. I don't think they had another class after that.
