LED in MX7000 indetification

Unfortunatly, no photo. Did C3 ever make LED units with GEN1 or 2 Diodes? The police here have a dual head unit that takes up the mirror and inner rotator spot of the outter sections. Each head has around 60 or so LED per head, the face is chrome, the diodes are in a small chrome cone shaped reflector, the front lens is bubbled out.


Im not finding any luck on the code 3 site, it may be too old, new technology is all thats left.


Until I find a cruiser, this is the best description I got

Richard . It might be a Opticom emitter .Code 3 did offer those in the bars a few years ago.

Actually, just after I posted this, someone told me could be D&R, sure enough, theyre D&R Dual LED Gen 2 lights

D&R Electronics did/do a lot of retrofits of existing customers lightbars and sales of new Code3 Lightbars (along with other lightbars) with their LED heads in them.They used to use their "LightBrite" lightheads in them, now a few are getting their "Cobra" lightheads put in.
