I was asked to do a review of the SL20 dash light by LEDGUY.

Mini LED Light Bars : Emergency Vehicle Lighting : LED Dash Lights : Strobe Warning Lights : Used Truck Light Bars : Amber Emergency Light : LED Outfitters - Dash Lights :: SL20 LED DASH LIGHT

I am not here to review his business practices or his customer service.

I asked for a red/clear dash light for the review. The box arrived a few days after payment was sent via usps priority post.

The box came with just my shipping tag and a red and white dot.

There were no markings on it to identify Manufacturer name, model number or voltage.

Here are the following pics of the process.

These items were laying loose in the box. I did notice the plastic bag was ripped open on the bottom.

I mounted the hardware to the light and the dimensions overall are

L=10.75

H=5.50

D=5.00

The suctions cups fit snugly into the mount, the screws and bolts are decent quality. I did score 4 extra screws in the bag..

The light is well made, it has a DaMega sticker on top and a pass sticker on back.

I plugged it into a power supply and here are some pics. Please note, I am not a photographer and my settings may not be optimal.

the white is bright and true white with no bluish tint to it. The red is a deep cherry red. Both have 9 led heads per side and appear to be 1watt per piece as this is comparable to my Axixtech 9 led dashlight.

Off axix is just fine with the lens having the diffuser to it and not the light head housing.

1 to 10 with 10 being best.

delivery = 10

correct product = 10

description of product on box for resellers or simply pulling the right part from led outfitters shelf = 2 (it had a red & white sticker)

package contents = 8 (the bag was ripped no big deal and no contents lost)

instructions = 2 (there were no instructions but anyone should be able to get it)

flash patterns = 10 (there are 22 that I can count and 1 is off)

windshield mount = 10 (you can't really screw this up and the suctions cups look well made)

cord = 8 (really long almost 9 feet)

plug = 10 (has on off and pattern select.)

Price = ??? I will not comment on price because I wasn't here to review that.

I ran this light for 5 hours straight. It held the same pattern and was only warm to the touch on all surfaces.

The price on the website link provided shows 99.99. Look pretty good for that price. I'm glad someone did a review as I have been eyeing one for a while.

checking galls and sirennet I found comparable products in the $200-$300 range. This item I do believe could sell in the $125-$150 on the market well.

As a reseller I would sell this in the $125 category. So I would say anything in the $100 should net you $25 in the pocket.

Did you purchase the light or just get it to do a review and return?

Just looking for objectivity here

I had to purchase this light so It wasn't a freebie or a here you can try it then return it type thing.

I gave a fair opinion of the item and only judged the light itself not the seller.
