Okay. I replaced the FS Legend that had been giving me some issues with the light bar in question. Today, prior to going in service, I opened it up and saw that some d-bag had cut off x4 connectors and simply twisted the wires controlling my rear amber flasher together. Now, the lights flashed as they were supposed to, but in looking at the wiring diagram, I noticed that the control wire I had used was the wire that controlled the identical pair to the front.

Being that I was going to replace one of the amber LED panels with a red one, I decided to replace the BS electrical tape crap with some waterproof connectors I had on hand, with an eye toward replacing them at a later date. I disconnected the D/S led, and upon reconnecting it, it would not function on any of the four(4) cut wires. I pulled the switchbox and checked the wires, removed the front outboard wire with the rear outboard wire and checked again. Nothing.

I am preplexed. the correct wire is connected to the switch that I have assigned to control the rear outboards, but nothing on either side. I started over. Checking every connection I knew how to check, fuses, crimps, but still I have no rear flashers. I am at a loss for what to check or what to do next. I am pretty methodical albiet far from a professional installer. That said, the guts of the Liberty are not rocket science to me.

This bar is a Patriot conversion bar, BTW. all of the guts are correct, and the other lights work fine, as they should in the correct patten, and on the swithces I assgned. The TD/Al also work. It's just the rear outboards.

Any and all assistance would be helpful. I just don't see how a light would function one second, be disconnected and then upon being reconnected, not work.

If a new harness is what I need, fine, can do.

Thanks, guys.
