Hey guys, just wondering what your primary lighting supplier is? Also, when trying to keep competitive and you can't use your primary lighting supplier for a build what is your next favourite to use for pricing and reliability? Reason I ask is, I keep loosing to the cheaper guy because they use a cheaper less known name of lighting. Any thoughts? Thanks....

well i used to buy through strobesnmore, sirennet, or vlsusa (depending on the item). Now i only purchase from members here on the board or from local guys that get rid of their interesting stuff, again depending on the product that i need.

I alway like to buy whelen just because its made in america but a lot of times i will shop around for the lowest price i really don't stick with one supplier just because prices are always changing and most of time i will look on here before i do anything just because i can find a good deal on here for new stuff and not have to pay the full retail price for something. As far as people going to other websites thats always going to happen your website looks good and profession something i would do is on a given week do a feature product and take a couple of bucks off of it or sell some of your NOS stuff on here. I do understand that a lot of people are buying crap from companys like Speed tech lights as far as that goes there not much you can do about that. Again the best thing that you can do is get your name out in the marketplace and also by the way it is good to see someone selling fed sig products even thou they are made in china ): but anyway i hope something helps!
Other then dept items, 99% of all my personal orders are placed with Emergency Responder Market (ERM). Also had great service with them plus the ELB discount helps a little! :shock: In fact I've placed two orders in about a weeks time with them the most recent was a few days ago.

I buy Tomar Direct since Im a distributer. I buy now Whelen from HPD84 and I am starting to buy a lot on from ELB members. I have also bought from Fleetsaftey.com , sirennet.com, strobesnmore.com and thesafetygarage.com .

Personally I think priority #1 would be to get out there and explain to your clients that you used quality, name brand USA products. Not cheap overseas junk that wont last. Hence the slightly higher price.
