Something tells me this ISN'T a Mars light. It just doesn't look right and knowing the seller has sold other suspicious items, I thought I would post it and let you all decide.

The tag looks like it was just screwed on, the motor and assembly looks odd too.

Bulb holders don't look right either. They look closer to a Tripp light.

The patent number D221-299 appears to be for a Mars bar itself, not any particular Mars beacon:

That beacon is in no way shape or form a Mars product. Someone found a Mars tag that fell off the mounting feet of a Mars bar, drilled two wholes in it and screwed it to this beacon. The seller is trying to pass it off as a Mars RB in an attempt to catch a fool.lol

I love the stories he makes up to go with these concoctions. "It was found on a shelf in the back of a place that might have done movie cars. The box was labeled A Light That You Could Try To Pass Off As Being From Andy's Mayberry Sheriffs Car." How convenient.

It looks like an old Ecco beacon to me. Dome is probably something else. Old Eccos had flat top with straight sides.
