Not my install but I like what they have done to the grille lights on a BMW x5

The headlight flasher has been dispensed with and replaced with 4 ( 2 double stack each side) white LEDs. probably Whelen LinZ6, mounted behind the grille and separately switched.

I know this will be expensive but those wanting to run white as an extra color may be interested in the set up.

Those look like M-series, not linz6. Anyways, what exactly did they do...wigwag pattern on each pair of grill lights? Doesn't seem like anything super special, & I probably just wouldve gone with blue (I'm assuming this is a metropolitan police unit with full code 3 privileges) grill lights behind the grill.

We're they having issues with the HLF or they just got bored of it?

The headlights are HIDs so difficult to flash, so they just have the fog lights and the white LEDs in the grill.

I've got a vid of another forces X5 brand new that has a broken HLF already....I'll upload it if i can. It has much more than the Mets.

I wish I had an X5 fly car or QRV!

...and the fact that the UK has been moving more & more away from hi-Lo makes this even better

A pair of Rigid Duallys hooked to a flasher would be way more effective and actual useful for illumination purposes.
