Just got in a mini aero that has the center black lens divider broken..... is this needed for support - or can i just do a full interlocking lens assembly

You can't really use a full 4 section lens because the endcaps are screwed on from the inside. So there's not really a way to attach an endcap. Better off to just replace the bulkhead
The center bulkhead helps seal both sections of lens together, as it has a gasket on both sides of it for the lenses to mesh with. They are pretty cheap from Federal Signal, if you are looking for a used one let me know. I have a ton of mini aeros lying around.
