My parakeet mic broke and it'll be a week before I get a new one. I'm sporting the old LAPD style handheld mic until then for uniformed patrol.
My dust cover on my radio was lost years ago and it looks like the gold plating is sensitive. Is it ok if some rain gets on it or some dirt? I don't wanna brick my radio, but I also don't want to look ghetto and put electrical tape all over the side of it.
