Motorola HT1250 LS issue

I have a UHF Motorola HT1250 LS, limited keypad. When I fully charge the radio, it shows battery full (all bars), then after about 10 minutes, it shows low battery (no bars), but the battery lasts a full charge. Is this a radio problem? A charger problem? Or a battery problem?

Sounds like a battery issue.


If it is a motorola battery on the label should be a three digit number like 052 or 636 thats the date code.


First digit is year and last 2 is mfg week.
