Hi all,

I have an MX7000 with 4 unused wire:

-light blue

-light blue with black stripe

-dark green

-dark green with black stripe

I suppose blue is for a speaker(non present in my bar)

greens are for?

Thanks!

Found this on the code 3 site:

Alternating Flash Pattern

Connect the RED and/or RED/BLK wire and the GREEN wire in the 16 wire cable to + 12 VDC through

a user supplied switch. This mode overrides REAR ONLY MODE.

4/6 Head: Front and Rear inboard and outboard strobes on each side will flash at a minimum rate of

70 FPM.

2 Head: If rear inboard strobes are present, strobes will flash at a minimum rate of 70 FPM.

Pursuit Flash Pattern

Connect the RED and/or RED/BLK wire and the GRN/BLK wire in the 16 wire cable to +12 VDC

through a user supplied switch. This mode overrides ALL OTHER MODES.

4/6 Head: Front inboard and outboard strobes on each side will flash at a minimum rate of 70 FPM.

2 Head: If front inboard strobes are present, strobe will flash at a minimum rate of 70 FPM.

CentexPSE, this looks like wiring options for an arrowstick.

The wires are as follow:

-1 black ground -1 red -1 red/black -1 yellow -1 yellow/black -1 orange -1 orange/black -1 white -1 white/black -1 blue -1 blue/black -1 green -1 green/black

My MX got:

2 fast rotators (red/black)

2 slow rotators (red)

2 int. sweepers (white/black)

4 rear flashers(white)

2 alleys (yellow-yellow/black)

4 takedowns; 2 inner(orange/black) 2 outer (orange)

I have no arrowstick in the back.

What options were designed to be supplied with those 4 blue and green wires?

Could it be for smart intersections??

No, the green wires are for bars that have strobes in them. Normally one of the blue wires (all blue or blue/black) was used for a center rotator, or +/- for a siren speaker if the bar had one. I don't remember if green was used for smart intersections, but I think it was.

If you have a black box mounted to the frame in the center of your bar, its' probably a smart intersection module. Another way to tell is if the intersection lights have a 4 pin connector plugged into them vs. normal intersections having just 1 wire going to them.

Looking at a couple of mine, they all have a red wire with a white stripe.

The arrow harness is completely separate. Charger is right, it's addt'l wiring for strobes or other options. I think they used this harness on the 360s, as I rewired one of those lately that had a bunch of extra wires in the harness.
