My Federal Signal LAPD 6 FOOT Monster Aerohawk Super Restore!!

Hello My Fellow Friends!!

I don't even know how to effectively express my feelings on this one, other than just saying I was overcome with excitement as soon as I received this one!!!!!! I mean where else you gonna find this one???!!! I got a phone call out of the blue from my contact in the LAPD and he knew I wouldn't be able to pass this one up LOL. He was like, "I have an unusual one for you here"

This is a Federal Signal 72" Aerohawk LAPD SPEC. This light bar came off a "Mobile Community Sub-Station" Van. I believe it was used in the Hollywood Division, based on the info I received. I gave it my usual treatment, disassembled it into pieces! I replated all the screws, plates and brackets I could. I Powder coated the frame and mounting plates. To finish things out I ordered new domes, mounting feet and wiring harness.

I absolutely love the outcome of my restoration on this one and put this find in my top ten greatest finds category. I was able to find a couple original photographs online from the van, though these are not to be believed the actual van my light bar came from.
