Hello all,

I have a 2012 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab truck. I am wanting to mount a Speed Tech Light Hex Pro to the top of my headliner in my back glass. I currently have it at the bottom of my back glass held barely in place by 3 suction cups and two 2x2's. Any tips?

Here is a link to a video of my light set up. The light bar I am wanting to mount is the one just above the toolbox. I want to move it to the top of the window.

I'll be the first to say this...get rid of the STL lights! It's only a matter of time before they start to fail. It looks like you have a pretty decent setup just minus the STL lights. But to answer you question. When I mount a rear bar in a pickup...I use the hooks on the rear of the headliner. Either use brackets the bar came with or just fabricate some. Remove the hooks which should be bolted on. Just use that bolt and mount the brackets there and place your bar where you would like it. You can usually get it so the bar sits right below the headliner at the top of the glass depending on how handy you are with making your brackets. But definitely look into replacing the STL lights before they fail on you, otherwise, you got a good setup IMO. My only other input would be your grille lights. I would have them going both blue flashing then both white. Just my opinion.

Thanks. I am getting ready to upgrade to all SoundOff Signal lights. Ghosts for the grille and toolbox along with mirror lights and and UltraLite bar in the back.

Sounds like a good plan. You may have no issues with your current lights, but more often than not members on this board haven't had the best relationship with the lights or the company. Yours may last or they might not. Going with SOS will be better because of better quality control and service. Otherwise your set up looks good!

You may find that the SOS ghosts may be a bit "small" for the 250 grille. The nforce series are of similar prices and you keep all SoundOff
