I am new to the forum and a big fan of the old Federal Signal Aerodynic light bars. I recently picked up a short (42 inch ?) Aerodynic light bar on Ebay and have been trying to get lens for it as the ones I have are in rough shape. I contacted Federal Signal to see if they could help but was told numerous times that they never made a 3 panel Aerodynic light bar and that it was most likely hand built, so they couldn't help. I've looked this light bar over and I cannot see any indication that is was scratch built / pieced together. Every indication is that its factory which is why I decided to post on line for some guidance. I took some photos of identifying marks on the bar, the model plate states 24 SEAH / Series A1H and the end dome caps that has "Aerodynic" say Blue Island , Ill instead of University Park, Ill. The lens look factory and other than normal wear and tear the don't show signs that they have been cut. Does anybody know anything about the light bar or where I could get lens for it ? If I can get the 3 1/2 panel domes can I take off the 1/2 dome section and make it fit ? This bar is equipped with four rotators, two alley lights, two take down, two rear blinkers. I appreciate any feedback or guidance from members that could help me. Thanks
