Nice, nice, nice! C'est si bon! Thanks for your com's!
I just finished the video...I hope you'll enjoy it...
Really? 21W halogens? It could have had a factor in increasing motor speed. But then sometimes those Aero motors were faster than the usual ones in a fluke way. I wish I could have found those 21 watters around here, but I converted mine over to 1156 bulbs, which are decent for display. I could drop in 795 bulbs, but then my power supply would refuse to run the bar.Thank you everyone for your com's!
@ CrownVic97 : It's faster than usual maybe because I put P21W bulbs?Normally it's 50W bulbs, but my power supply was little short for this light...
have you tried 796 bulbs? they look like the 795s but are rated 37.5 watts instead of 50. i put them in my aero 25 (10 rotator) and have no problem running it w/my 35 amp power supply. according to the meter on my power supply the 10 of them draw a couple amps less than when it's loaded up w/1195 bulbsReally? 21W halogens? Great patterns..!...thanks for the link back to the previous post.I'm glad I made that little diagram on how to change patterns. Also, I have made up my own patterns in addition to the Federal Signal factory ones if no one feels like trying to fiddle with the inner rotator gears and belt.

Jamison: Aren't those 1195s somewhat like the ones in the lollipop lights? If so, you might try the 1019 bulb (Don't faint, Dan!). That's what they used in the junior beacons are extremely bright. They're a big bulb, so I'm not sure if they would fit.Really? 21W halogens? It could have had a factor in increasing motor speed. You bet! I have yet to make a video on them but that'll be in due time ^_^Great patterns..!...thanks for the link back to the previous post.
I think the 1019s will interfere with the rotator. 1195s were used in the 24s 24Es, and 24EAs up until Federal started using the H1 bulbs more primarily in the bars. Those are still good output for incandescent bulbs. I would like to get 8 1195 bulbs, but I don't think they are that cheap anymore. I'll have to check.Jamison: Aren't those 1195s somewhat like the ones in the lollipop lights? If so, you might try the 1019 bulb (Don't faint, Dan!). I was thinking that the larger size of the 1019 would be difficult to fit within the rotator's confines. As I said before, they worked just fine in the old Mars DL8 light we had. One night on a run from the racetrack to the ER we had an unexpected S.O. escort, and that deputy literally flew! I asked him why he was in such a hurry and he said that he was just trying to get away from that "wobbly light" because it was so bright! You bet! Edit: I just bought the last 8 1195 on bulbs.com for $0.99 each. Not too bad! B)
