I saw a couple prototypes in March. They are extremely good off axis (and I mean at 90 degrees to the front of the light). They are not tiny lights, but have a mirror system in them that dedicates a couple LEDs to the side and corner light function. Pretty impressive stuff - would be great for front of pushbumpers, grille lights (on, not behind, the grille), and sides of vehicles.
