New MinV - Where to send

Ok guys. I have a new min5 and straight out of the box the C channel will not work. I have a programmer and I am good enough at working with them. The question is, do I send it straight to Moto for repair or take it to the dealer. Only reason I ask is because the dealer is 40 minutes away and I do not want to bring it in just for them to look at it and tell me to mail it for service.

I'd call the dealer and ask them if you should bring it in or send it to the factory... If you have already done that and they can't give you a straight answer I wouldn't know what to tell ya!

Your dealer can email or fax you a Motorola factory repair sheet and prepaid Fedex label to ship the pager into factory to be repaired. That is, once you read pager and double check the setting for switch postion C :)

Trust me i did that more than once and even reset it to how the dealer originally had it programmed. .

Beautiful southern Georgia!
Call (800)422-4210 and follow the prompts until you get to pager/radio repair. Once on the line with them, they will ask for the serial number and what the problem is and then email you a prepaid label that you put on a box and ship it off to the factory. They will have it back to you within a few days. Hope this helps.
