New Programmable LED Flasher by ERM

Whats the max amps per output of the LED flasher?

Can it mimic that light that changes traffic signals?

Hi Jim,

It handles 5 amps just fine with no issues. As for preemption, it all depends what frequency they operate off of. The frequency is adjustable on this flasher, so you might find the sweet spot, but do you have to be authorized to be able to activated these traffic signals? This flasher was designed to give you the flexibility to manipulate the programmed pattern to what you want. I haven't tested it for this purpose as there may be restrictions for such a usage.

Jim,

The frequency for the GTT Opticom is 700 FPM, but it is triggered by infrared light, so a white LED would not work.

But an infrared emitter connected to the flasher might. Hmmmm. :undecided: Anyone have an emitter I can test that theory on? :)
