NFPA bar? Never seen a no clear to the rear setup in one of these

It must be for applications where the vehicle itself blocks the white light from being seen to the rear.Yea...that's weird. The one on our engine 2 had a black lense on the clear section in back but the 3 or 4 AMR trucks with them were just like that. Maybe the B?O rear lens is special order or something. I know C-3 also had BO end caps for the mini's on the FDNY rescue trucks (Macks).
