Norfolk Police Officer Brian Jones

End of Watch 30 May 2014.  He was responding to a shots fired call with one confirmed fatality.  As he approached the suspect's house he was shot multiple times with a rifle.  An off duty officer, Curtis Allison, attempted to pull Jones to safety but was wounded.  He is expected to recover.   The suspect was pursued, and in the course of the arrest, tried to take a weapon away from another officer.  He was neutralized.
