Odd code 3 sd bar

Looking in info about a code 3 sd lightbar I picked up the other day. It is a 47 inch bar with the old style rotors, but what makes it odd is the fact that it has a pair of rear lights the red dome has a amber cut out in the center where one rear light is. Each rear light has its own wire in the cable so you can wire it to flash or steady burn I presume. Has anyone seen one like this? Also where would I find the model number on it?

does it have actual flashers or is this a select o lert bar?
Looks to be CA Spec. Nice find if it all works.

I think SD bars were called 2200 series or something along those lines.

i don't recall ever seeing any tags or labels on the Code 3 SD bars to indicate what models they are like some other brands have.

according to Code 3 catalogs the model number of the 47 inch bar is: 2200 Short.
the model number of the regular size 55 or 56 inch bar is: 2200 Long

I think SD bars were called 2200 series ...
Mostly, but not all Model.
Sealed Beam SD with 2 Domes + Speaker center = Model 2200 Short(47")/Long (55")/Extra Long(63")
Sealed Beam SD with 2 Domes + open center = Model 2600 Short(47")/Long(55")
Sealed Beam SD with 3 Domes + 2 Speaker center = Model 2300 (75")
Sealed Beam SD Mini with one Dome(20") = Model 1100

I would say it is a SD Model 2200 Short with Selectalert Stationary Lamps (PAR46)
These Stationary Lights are normally in the front of the bar so I would guess the domes + speaker grill were turned front to back.

Ok the bar does not have a flasher in it each flasher lamp has its own wire in the cable they are par 36 lamps, not par 46 like I have seen in other bars. it is not a select alert bar it will light up and rotate slowly but I had it on a 10 amp battery charger... I just have not seen the amber window in the center of the SD lightbar I thought they were mainly close to the ends for the select alert bars...

Chris,
For more information.. take some pictures of the bar without the domes.
This will allow others to tell you what options are on the bar.

It's possible its just a regular SD bar with different domes.
