Old Code 3 SD & Grote Beacon frames ?

Could be they simply rebadged Code 3 products. It's actually a pretty common practice in vehicle lighting (and just about any motor vehicle part) for one company to purchase a license to resell another company's products under a different name. Case in point: My Honda recently required a new oxygen sensor. The sensor from Honda was $245. Honda does not actually make the sensor, the sensor is actually made by Denso and can be bought for $165 at many auto parts stores. Same part, Honda simply puts it in a box labeled "Honda".
