? on single Talon

What size lighthead does the Whelen single Talon use? Is it a 500 series, larger or smaller?


Also is the flasher built into the lighthead or does it plug into it?


If someone has a picture of one taken apart that would help too!


I saw the picture in the install guide but it didn't answer all my questions.

There a set of 4 pins that run from the flasher board through the heat sink into the led board

True. They're roughly the same size, but not interchangable.

I am thinking of buying a few split color single Talons.


As long as the size of the lighthead is close to a 500 size it will work for my application.


I am trying to figure out if I can take off the flasher board and hook up each color to its own flasher so I can turn on each color separately.


It sounds like I may not be able to since there are pins that go from the flasher into the led board.
