Was looking for any Vollies out there running a single beacon roof light for primary warning? Also if anyone has photos of this setup with secondary lighting would be great. Thanks for reading and posting.

I started with a teardrop light, went to a code 3 mini lp, a code 3 420, and currently a soundoff pinnacle, all worked well for me. Also currently I run a led dash light, wigwags and hideaway strobes.

The guys I knew that did have all retired now. When I was a kid the Capt of our FD had a Beacon Ray. We had a guy that ran a Model 14 on the roof and a teardrop on the dash. Have seen others with grill lights.

There is one in my area...he has a newer Dodge Dakota with a FS Model 14 on a custom mount in the tailgate just behind and above the back window; looks very cool. Used 8 incandescent marker lamps for grille lights though. :(
