I'd posted a wanted listing for an nERGY 400 a good while ago and got burned. I put looking for it on the back burner. SMGUSER messaged me asking if I was interested in a remote mount nERGY. I said that I was, but that I couldn't float it at that time. He held onto it.
We exchanged a bunch of messages and he still held onto it.
Fast forward to this past Christmas. I get a message on Xmas Eve from him.
He gave me the nERGY. I only had to pay shipping, which was $73. Let that sink in.
I've received such incredible generosity from fellow elb members in the past several months. It's a further testament to the community aspect of collecting and why we need that community aspect. It leads to a culture of members looking out for each other, helping each other and paying it forward.
It arrived today and I'm almost in a state of shock. If this isn't being good people, I don't know what is.
