POC or Combo FD - Logging in Payroll

Question for any POC or Combo Fire Department Members, how does your department log in hours for Payroll?

We are paid a flat fee for the first hour of any run, then additional hours are paid at a different wage and can be paid in quarters (I think). Then we have yet another classification for training pay.

In addition to all of that, we do have some situations where we will start say a house fire, and some people who work might leave before the run is officially "ended", so we would have to account for early departures as well.

We have a system now, but I am trying to stream line it as it involves... paper..

Thanks!

Our department is POC and it is a flat rate... If a truck leaves the station it is 10.00.. as long as a truck leaves, you get your 10.00, whether you get disregarded, or you are on a school fire for 32 hours.. you get 10.00! 10.00 per meeting, and 10.00 per training... thats it.. it goes in a file, and at our christmas party, you get cut a check!
