I am doing an initial presentation for a our new cars and equipment. Admin wants rough prices before we do bids so they know what to budget. When looking at a published price sheet, is there an amount below listed price I can reasonably expect, or is it what you see if what you get? I am trying very hard to get us away from the bare bones justice bars they have been buying, but they won't pay 3-4k per bar for the nForce or Legacy.

look up the list price on the manufacturer website. you should never buy anything for the list price. you should be able to account for at least 20-25% off list price for most items. if not then you need to find a new dealer. if need I can get you ballpark pricing for what I sell for. have pricing for everything except Whelen, don't deal with them muc .

I'm interested in buying one of your depts old 'bare bones' Whelen Justice bars; especially if it is blue. My state (Missouri) is the opposite of Georgia & most of the south--volunteer firefighters are only allowed to run blue to the front.

From this dealer, who is a member on ELB, a dual color 48" nForce bar with mounting feet will run you $2105. That will give you the full front flood and rear amber traffic advisor.
