Can anyone tell me exactly how much mounting space (from left to right) there is on the top rail of this Pro-Gard push bumper (CVPI)?

Can someone measure one right quick? I need to order a light for the bumper but don't have the unit handy that it's going on.

How do you (or anyone else feel free to chime in) suggest mounting a bar there? L brackets or? I want it to sit snug on the top of that top rail.

I've had TIR3's mounted both ways on 2 different Impalas. I liked standard L brackets making them stand up a little bit more, but the car I have now has them pretty much flat mounted L's and, while it looks a little odd to me, it seems like they are less likely to get damaged.

Burto, I was doing that with dominators for DART, but they kept breaking them off on Lane delineators. so i started mounting them on the top crossbar... kinda ugly but damned effective
