Question on radio

I have a vhf m1225 mobile radio that im gonna get installed in my truck very soon..But i have one quick question, in my county where going to narrow band in 2012 and i was wondering if that radio is capable of carrying the narrow band or not. Im not for sure thats why im asking the experts on here. I know that it can be programmed with 20 channels..If you guys have any questions feel free to leave a message or pm me.Thanks Ryan CTFD

apparently it is.. but I am not sure how "super narrowband" it will go.. since there is so many new "narrowband" steps.. so to say.. here are some links for ya to view. The last link should really help ya with my crazy "super narrowband comment above.

The answer is yes. Channel spacing is programmable per channel.

I believe the FCC has extended the


narrow band date from from jan2012 to jan2013
