so we recently put a q2b on the truck and I;ve got a few questions

1st is we were told since the clutch on it is new it would wind down faster than the usual? is that correct? we were told that after a while the wind down will take longer and longer until it becomes that wind down everyone is familiar with

2nd is the q2b died on us was working for a couple of days then bam dead q2b

When we hit the foot switch nothing happens (were using a japanese foot switch) we put a tester on the q itself and whenever the pedal is pressed there is power getting to the q.. if this is the case what should I be looking at? basically the q2b is getting power but not winding up

Check the ground first. I've seen them crack a bracket from the torque, interupting ground. Next, I would take off the rear cover, and apply 12 vols from a car battery to the motor, to see if it works. Than I would check to see if the brake is stuck, or broken in the "on " position. If still no siren, you might have a broken brush, or brush spring in the motor.
