Running a 24W XS8000 minibar with a 12V car plug.

I got my hands on a European import Code 3 XS8000 minibar wired for 24W. It does not have a cord, which I will need to install. Can anyone recommend a 24W --> 12W converter to wire into the main plug?

Also, it does not have a center mirror. Did the XS8000 originally come with one?

When you say 24W, do you mean 24 volts DC? It sounds like you have a 24 volt lightbar that you want to power from a 12 volt system.

Yes, there's a big sticker, '24W', inside the bar. My plan was to buy a small converter that wire it in inside the bottom portion of the bar. I've never done anything like this before.

Thanks for clearing that up. It seems strange to use the letter W as an abbreviation for volts.
