RX2700 23pin connector issues

Hi all, I'm new to the forum so apologies if I've posted in the wrong place or made a mistake.

Ive just acquired what I believe to be an RX2700 lightbar.

It has a 23 pin circular connector, I'm presuming these are + triggers.

Im not sure what the individual pin configurations are and whether the lightbar is also powered via these pins.

Ill provide an image with this post.

I havent had chance to open the lightbar yet.

Also I'm based in the UK.

It appears that the connector is one that was installed by the agency that owned the light, these types of connectors arent standard for code 3 lightbars from the factory.

Your best bet is to open the lightbar up and test each pin with a multimeter from the inside of the lightbar to the connector to identify what each pin is.

Thankyou very much for the reply.

I will open the lightbar up shortly and have a look, I'll update this thread with photos outside and inside the bar

sounds good, also try to see on the ends of the lightbar for a model sticker, it would be helpful to know what exactly it is to get the proper manual for it.

Update with photos, its actually a britax?

Britax is the European side, or was, of Code 3 Public Safety Equipment. You have quite the mixture of modules in that lightbar. From what I can make out of seeing them from the top down you have the LED-X modules on the 45 degree corners and sides. The (4) right next to the corner modules are the OPTIX-6. Now , those (4) modules facing forward look like the ones that were in the Code 3 2500 series bar. They were dumb heads and needed a flasher to make the lights flash. That quick disconnect was sold by Code 3 and installed either by the factory or customer. I sold a lot of those. the quick disconnect was perfect for my demo vehicle which carried 4-5 different lightbars that disconnect worked on them all. Those that came from Code 3 in the U.S. there wire colors matched the wire colors used in the 22 conductor cables, but I cannot speak for those that were Britax. But that lightbar would be easy to add in a wiring harness if you want to extend that cable.
