A San Antonio police officer was shot in the head and critically wounded before daybreak Sunday during a car chase involving what authorities said were armed robbery suspects.

Wow, I'll be praying for him.


On a related note, a PG officer was shot last night in a gun fight with robber suspects. Thankfully he was hit in the vest. Suspect was shot and is in custody, second suspect in custody uninjured.

When I first posted this, on December the 8th, it had just happened and Officer Deckard was still clinging to life. At that time, I was looking for the Professional thread. It appeared/s that that thread no longer exists, so I posted in the closest thread to the Professional topic that I could pick from.


With the passing of Officer Deckard, this is now in the appropriate ELB forum thread.
