After watching the video it appears as though an officer by the driver's side of the first SUV is screaming and waving for the other officers to get back and avoid crossfire.

The news reporters claim they were motioning for the camera crew to move. When the firing first starts is when the worst crossfire I saw was.

Not questioning anyone's actions. Good video to show to your rookies and let them decide what they would or would not have done. Suspect down, no officers injured; everyone but the suspect goes home to their family.


I bet the officers directly behind the suspects vehicle were crapping their pants though.
