First off sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area, if I am, let me know........

I am a 911 Dispatcher, I have been given the task of doing the Santa Bolo this year on Christmas eve. I have run into the problem of the dispatcher that had done it for 15+ years retired this past spring, and doesnt want to give up the BOlO he came up with. So now I am having to work on coming up with a new one from strach. Does anyone out there have something I can work off of. Or have any idea of what I can do. I know the basic but dont want to sound like every other bolo we put out. Any help?!?!?!

Ours goes something like this: "All units standby for an important BOLO. All units be on the lookout for a suspicious vehicle seen in the area. The vehicle is being described as a red sleigh being pulled by reindeer. The driver is last seen wearing a red suit and has a white beard. It has been seen at multiple locations and some callers are advising it is flying. Air traffic control is also advising of random unidentified sightings all over the county. Please advise if spotted, the subject is believed to be unarmed and very jolly. All units have a Merry Christmas and be safe. Dispatch clear, all units resume normal radio traffic."

Ofcourse do this during a slow traffic time period ;-) Have fun! :haha:

Had a buddy run into a bad spot one year while on dispatch, some jack-wagon was breaking into houses on Christmass eve while wearing a Santa costume. The patrol units thought the BOLO was a joke at first and laughed it off until he came across the air with "The previous BOLO was NOT the annual Santa BOLO but a real call for service, suspect last seen in the area of 123 Main St..."

When the dispatcher in the video said "has several ak's", I thought she was saying santa had AK47s on board:haha: :duh:

Depending the the neighborhood I was delivering to, I might consider packing heat too!
