Sapphire Knob-head/TA issue

I'm programming a Sapphire, which by default has two buttons for the TA. I am trying to make it a single button "DIR" like we can on the regular CenCom, and it's available as a button assignment, but the "two-wire TA" selection is greyed out. Anyone have any insight?
