Had a chance to catch a little video on my cell phone of the OSP motorcylces passing thru in a motorcade today. I actually took video twice but it seem the incoming one caught the brite green of my traffic gloves. Usually Trooper of the year or a recruitment officer has a silver brand new Charger w/ graphics and lights. Can't tell for sure though without seeing the unit number. There are threads that have information regarding the silver Chargers...

All that for Romney's bus??? His son came this way on one of his busses and their wasn't a lick of security. The local PD wasn't even at the public event.

Then just some Romney campaign guys in a SUV that had a Red/Blue Visor light on it way back. After you have officially been nominated for potus, you are then given a full USSS detail.......and the same motorcades as the potuThe bus is under direction and being operated by a USSS agent, hence the red and blue lights.

Cool video! I can't understand why the marked silver Charger didn't have it's lights on either... The plate on the video looks like it's a #677. But, did you catch the Ohio State Highway Patrol's new silver paint on their motorcycles as well? I passed a mixed-batch of OSHP and Columbus PD motorcycles last week (counted at least 30 to 35 bikes in total), southbound on 23 between Lazelle and 270. Nice!

Thanks ya they were silver. Wish first video would have came out of something over than brite green. Between the R candidate arriving and departing a few of us went to Arby's and so did the Trooper with the Charger and one of the MC Troopers. Got to talking with the MC Trooper ask if I could take a quick pic and he said sure you can sit on it if you want. But our food came I sat down to eat and he went out and put his food in the rear saddle bag and off he went. Missed my chance there. Also stated he has put over 5,000 miles on it just doing escort details.

The windshield lights are most likely Whelen motorcycle inneredges.
Big thing on motorcycles, especially Harleys with PAR36 lights next to the headlight is that they wash out, especially when coming directly at you. There are a number of departments that install headlight cutout swithes specifically for running code to prevent headlight washout.
