Smith and Wesson Timeline

I don't think S&W ever manufactured their own warning equipment. Everything I have seen points to them having their warning lights and sirens made by other manufacturers for them.

I didn't know that, but I'm not really surprised. To me, it always seemed odd that a firearm company would venture into vehicle warning equipment.

That said, I've always thought the S&W rotator bars looked unique and nice. I always liked the square halogen "headlight" bulb flashers, they were VERY effective.

wait Federal? Federal Mogul? or Fed Signal? S&W, Dietz, Yankee, SVP, Star.. and others I am forgetting all used the same parts internally. And then they all gobbled each other up eventually.

I could see Federal Mogul.. as they ended up with Dietz/Yankee.
