Here is a video I took yesterday at a crash scene. Slicktop police car is shown at/about 250 feet in full sunlight at 3pm. You can clearly see the SOS Par36 lights and judge for yourself on their effectiveness. For comparison, the grille lights are surface-mounted (not behind the grille) Whelen TIR6 LEDs. The visor lights are SOS UL-04 but the windshield glare has killed them. All the lights were brighter in person than the video shows, but the video is accurate in that the SOS Par36 were blowing everything else away.

Impressive.

I take it these are strobes. I have yet to see a set of leds that are that bright at that distance. I have installed SOS par 36 never shined like that at that distance.

I must be getting LED vision, I can tell the difference between LED's and strobes anyday, anywhere. The flash duration, pop, pattern. Call it a gift.

No. SoundOff Signal Blue Par36 LEDs. Car has corner strobes. They are a joke. That video is unedited, shot on an iPod Touch 4G, uploaded to Photobucket. They are that bright. Period. And I've never seen strobes that bright or even close in the daytime. Further, the wrecker bar is a strobe Edge bar with LED S/T/T and it is flashing in the video. Can't tell and the camera isn't capturing the flash rate.

The SOS Par36 LED units were installed less than a year ago to replace a pair of Brookings/Axixtech Par36 LEDs that sucked and wouldn't hold pattern.

I've put them in all my 06-10 charger upfits, they are very effective.

My favorite part of the video was you showing us the telephone pole!

Yeah...was trying to show the sun as proof for the haters!

WOW!!

I am loving what SOS has been doing, they have some kick-ass products!!!!!!!

Well to be honest, Mother "W" stopped making the Tir style PAR36 and went with the Linz6 doubled up and I believe this to be a mistake. Although there aremtwice the amount of Diodes in the Linz6 the TIR is much more effective in this application. So, kudos to SOS for capitalizing on other manufacturer's mistakes. Also the Linz6 looks terrible when unlit, IMHO not so with the TIR style.

I think for this reason Whelen stopped making the par36 TIR6 version. I installed a couple of them on Tahoes I dont think they are effective when not head on. If u move a little to the side the TIR is non existent. I prefer a Avenger over a TIR6 slimlighter any day. The SOS looks like they spread the light very well.

Thanks for the video Matt!

So... who's got pricing on a pair of these in red with clear lenses!!???
