Soundoff CVP

I'm looking at a Soundoff CVP 40" bar in amber as an option. It is the bar and mounting feet only. So, looking at the cable, which has been cut short, it appears to only have 3 wires.

What controller would be needed and what type of functions should it include? Number at top of the product label is 002LB015-40-A1.

Also based on the date code J17225 how old is it?

Regarding the date code, I imagine you'll say that it is read as the 225th day of year 17. However, this is just a guess.

Still haven't figured out the date code. The light bar is a 40" SoundOff Signal 2x. From what I was finally able to find on the SoundOff Site it appears the 3 wire and 4 wire black top versions are out of production. Three wire appears to be Red (power) Black (Ground) and Yellow (pattern). 4 wire version includes a White wire for ally/take-downs.
