soundoff flasher

i got a (soundoff signal eftbimp0 impala flashback plug-in rear lamp flasher)

my intentions was to try and use this on our brush truck since it has no rear warning, so i was going to try and use this to flash the reverse lights with the brake lights

i can understand how this works, just need someone with a little more knowledge on these things to help, as i dont want to go and hook wires to stuff not knowing what they go to

i dont see why this wont work, it doesn't have any plugs, just bare wires and what knot

wire colors are red/black, red, pink, yellow, green, orange, blue, white, and brown

if anyone could tell me witch wires go where i can make it from there, like witch one goes to main wire, and witch to bulb and what knot

also, does this have an "override" feature kinda like a headlight flasher, or do i need to wire in resistors to not get "back current" ?

What some of the instructions fail to point out is that the brown wire is the "trigger", or what makes it start doing its thing. Apply it to the +12VDC.

dunno how to tell what goes where, i read a little and learned a little but a couple wires i dunno

That's not the same flasher. Not to mention that that manual is really old. They haven't been called SoundOff, inc. for years. Just call 1-800-338-7337 and press #4. Tech support can tell you all you need to know with certainty.
