Stl Vs. PowerArc dashlight

Yep, there wasn't really a comparison. The power arc was very present over the quad pos stl.

Theres and stl light in that video? Where is it because I can only see the PowerArc dash light... Ha

It's above the PowerArc dash light. There are also two lights in the grill area, I don't know how you didn't see those either.

Its too bad that powerarc's products are so bulky because they have pretty good warning. Someone tried to sell me some of there products recently and personally, I'm a whelen guy, but I decided to take a look anyways just to see how it was. They are very bright but a huge chunk of metal. Takes up a large area of the dash and front window on a charger. I'd love to see if they could come out with something a bit smaller. I think they would sell a lot more of there products too.

I know a PowerArc dealor and asked him about the lack of POV options for lighting; his response was that PowerArc makes lighting for firetrucks and ambulances, not personal vehicles. Hence why there's only that one gompy version of a dash light. I think anyone would havea tough time starting from scratch and competing with Whelen, FS, etc.

By the way, comparing anything to STL is like comparing a crack whore to a victoria secret model. Not a huge fan of PowerArc, but STL is sh*t. Dont waste your time or money.

sorry to resurect an somewhat old thread, but as mentioned above, PowerArc is primarily focused on fire apparatus and ambulances. That being said, I bring up the fact that a single level (6 led) version of the DL12 would go over great for LE, chief's vehicles, etc. with Ken Menke (the President of PowerArc) everytime I see him. Time will tell where it goes, but I am also trying to see if I can piggyback on their manufacturing contracts to do some of the things they don't have time to do right now. Stay tuned.

We have a powerarc on our dash (Ford F-150) and it works great lots of light. SUCKS for viewing out the front window!!!! Of course this was a management purchase
