I have some information on my computer somewhere. They actually offered quite a few different options including lower strobes in place of flashers, rotators in place of the mirrors, and cruise lights.

Also too late. This was essentially a 8000/80h/90h bar with, at best different at worse less, options. It was completing with the edge and advantedge for a good chunk of its time instead of the bars with which it was on par. Two 360 strobes with rotators and lower deck options might have been worth taking a look at if it were up against an 8000. The 8000's strobes would win but the dual level and Federal rotators would make you think about it. Compared to the 80/90h the lack of 360 strobes and better rotator design might win in some people's book. Also if you already used streekhawks the recognizable footprint and options might make it overtake the 8000/80h/90h. Unfortunately none of those things really came together and it ended up being a debate about whether it was marginally better than the competition's previous offerings.

I found this patent which describes a really interesting feature of what I assume is the "J60" power supply driving the 360 heads (the "Broca-Sulzer Effect") - each of its double flashes are of equal intensity (to my knowledge, Whelen never tried/achieved that) .

Yes, but two weak flashes is less effective than one powerful flash followed by one weak flash, at least in my opinion.
