Switch for this LED idea?

I like the idea of these red and green LEDs for interior night lighting posted on the archive site.

But I am not loving on the toggle style switch.


Does anone have a suggestion on a dual rocker switch that is small enough to mount in the same location as the shown toggle switch?

You're going to have a hard time finding a rocker that will mount there. The light dome is curved, and a rocker is going to require a rectangular hole to mount. It will most likely not sit flush in the dome.

The 2005 Jeep Wrangler my uncle drives has LED dome lights built into the bottom of the rearview mirror (for lack of a solid roof) and they use six LEDs on each side that are amber and a cool aquamarine color - the amber ones have become less bright than I previously remember them so now you get a rather bluish glow rather than the yellowy glow that was apparently intended.

I just received my new ride. I guess this idea is on hold until I can find some basic components. LIKE AN INTERIOR LIGHT! :evil:
