Synchronizing a Dual Avenger with a ULF44

I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight into synchronizing a whelen dual avenger sync model with grille lights hooked up to a ULF44. I don't want the dual avenger on full steady burn, I would like it to still alternate, but with the grille lights. any advice?

Set patterns, connect the gray wire from the Avenger to the sync terminal on the ULF44, enjoy.
