On the new(er) Talons sold under Galls still covered by warranty if you cut the plug to hardwire it? Also, are these newer ones ballast or passive, and can they be synced? It will be a single head R/B split (and I know, split colors...but I have an idea...lol) Thanks!!!

you can cut the cig plug off and warranty will be fine......... TN series are passive

if you want to sync a purple blur, set it up to steady burn and then hook it up to a external flasher !

He probably wants to sync a split pattern.

I think the only way you could sync them would be to have the entire lighthead flashing at the same time like 911 said though.

Oh, and there is a flash pattern that is random and only flashes one color at a time. They do look purple when they are together!

yes but if u wanted to sycn it, u would need to put it on steady burn and then u will get the blur !!! when flashed

If they're set-up like a Whelen Talon, there should be a spot on the board for a sync wire. On the board there are 3 holes marked red, black and grey. The red and black are filled with the power and ground wires, and the grey should be sync. Now, this is just a theory, and I have not been able to test it. But in theory the grey should be sync as it is with all Whelen products... Just a though if ya feel like you want to open one up...

Good to know. I might end up doing that if I get two of them. Thanks everyone for the help.
