This would be for mounting an arrowstick between two hatch struts. I have seen this done before but can't find the pics. the mounts as I remember them looked similar to rearview mirror mounts but with one end able to clamp tight on a round pole/tube. please post if you have pics of this mount or know where to buy it. thanks

I have seen these type mounts used to mount radar to hatch shocks/ tubes etc in vehicles. not talking about radar detectors. if that gives you an idea of what I am looking for.

You would be looking for an insulated pipe clamp. They can be found in your local hardware store (usually in the electrical section). They are also called rear view mirror mounts in the SVP Mini Phantom mounting kits. Hope that helps...
